    Latest Brugler Feeder Cattle Report

    Cattle futures are trading lower this morning, but feeders are up in the May contract. Cattle were up $4.38 per hundred last week, a very respectable rally! Cash trade in KS was at $123 on Friday. The Cattle on Feed report was bullish on paper, but we are seeing a little “sell the fact” profit taking this morning. Nebraska slaughter cattle sold sharply higher on the week with the bullish cattle on feed news, live sales were 3.00 to 3.50 higher at 123.50-125.00. Lean boneless beef was mostly steady this morning. Wholesale prices are mixed this morning. Choice boxes were $1.89 higher and Select was down $0.37.

    Oct 12 Cattle are at $126.000, down $0.300,
    May 12 Feeder Cattle are at $151.900, up $0.600
